University–Community Start-up Hub

Local Start-Up Assistance through Education and University Resources

TSUULL provides systematic assistance to the local community in supporting the start-up and growth of financially and socially sustainable businesses through a comprehensive set of educational programmes and institutional resources. The University operates a dedicated Start-Up Support Hub, which serves as a community-oriented platform offering entrepreneurship education, training workshops, mentorship programmes, business incubation, expert consultations, and access to university facilities.
In collaboration with residents of neighbouring mahallas, the Hub assists students and community members in jointly developing start-ups focused on income generation, social impact, and long-term sustainability. Priority groups include local youth, unemployed women, low-income households, and individuals seeking pathways to financial independence. Support measures include free training, personalised mentoring, workspace provision, and ongoing practical guidance throughout the start-up development process.

In 2024, TSUULL allocated 250,000,000 UZS to strengthen its start-up assistance programmes, enabling the incubation of projects in the fields of education, language services, creative industries, culture, and IT technologies. To date, the initiative has supported more than 32 community-based start-ups, several of which have grown into self-sustaining micro-enterprises that continue to generate income and employment at the local level.

These activities clearly demonstrate TSUULL’s institutional commitment to SDG, showing how the University provides the local community with equitable access to education, entrepreneurship resources, training, mentorship, and facilities that directly contribute to poverty reduction, inclusive economic development, and the creation of sustainable livelihoods. TSUULL’s model illustrates how a university can function as a catalyst for local socio-economic transformation, empowering communities through education-driven innovation and shared prosperity.
