Objective: The project aims to cater to the educational needs of visually impaired students at various levels, including secondary schools, vocational schools, and higher education institutions, by providing them with a mobile app that enables independent and convenient learning of the Turkish language. The goal is to facilitate quick and accessible learning through personal computers and mobile devices. Project Tasks: 1. Research and Analysis: Conduct a needs assessment to identify the specific requirements of visually impaired students for learning Turkish. 2. Audiobook Production: Record the "Istanbul Yabancılar İçin Türkçe Ders Kitabı" textbook as an audiobook, ensuring clarity and accessibility of the content. 3. Mobile App Development: Design and develop a user-friendly mobile application that integrates the audio materials. Each proficiency level (A1 to C1) will be organized into separate sections. 4. Testing and Feedback: Conduct usability testing with visually impaired students to gather feedback on the app's functionality and audio quality, making necessary adjustments based on user input. 5. Certification Preparation: Develop materials and support systems for students to prepare for Turkish language certification exams (DTM and TYS), ensuring they have access to necessary resources. 6. Launch and Distribution: Release the mobile app on the Play Market and App Store, making it accessible to visually impaired students and educators. Project Outcomes: 1. Increased Accessibility: Visually impaired students will have access to a comprehensive Turkish language learning tool, allowing them to study independently and at their own pace. 2. Language Proficiency: Users will be able to progress through Turkish language levels from A1 to C1, enhancing their overall language skills. 3. Certification Opportunities: The project will facilitate access to recognized Turkish language certification, improving opportunities for further education and academic advancement. 4. Enhanced Educational Resources: The integration of audio materials into a mobile app will provide a modern, engaging approach to language learning for visually impaired individuals. 5.
