Rector of TSUULL Presents 2024 Report on Donation Program

Alisher Navo'i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature (TSUULL) has presented its annual report on the activities of the University’s Donation Program, which is aimed at supporting socially vulnerable students and local communities within the framework of SDG 1 – No Poverty. The detailed 2024 report was delivered by the Rector, Professor Shukhrat Sirojiddinov, highlighting the program’s key achievements, challenges, and future directions.

The Donation Program was established in accordance with Government Resolution No. 213, initiated by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. It is designed to foster a culture of solidarity and social responsibility within the academic environment, ensuring that assistance reaches those who need it most.

Presenting the results of 2024, the Rector emphasized that the University community remains deeply committed to charitable initiatives. Throughout the year, TSUULL staff and volunteers organized a number of charity events, including traditional Uzbek plov distributions for students and residents of the Yakkasaray district. These events not only provided direct assistance but also strengthened the culture of volunteerism and compassion across campus.

A special donation bank account established at TSUULL played a central role in mobilizing financial contributions from staff, alumni, partners, and socially responsible organizations. According to the Rector’s report, a significant portion of donations also came in the form of food products, hygiene items, clothing, and other basic necessities. Contributions were received from all regions of Uzbekistan, demonstrating broad national support for the University’s social mission.
