POLICY FOR GETTING INVOLVED INTO STARTUPS

 

Eligibility Criteria. Age Requirement: All participants must be of legal age specifically 18 years old and above. Educational Background: Education level: Appropriate academic qualification is GED or higher; additional education or working experience in related fields is preferred. Entrepreneurial Spirit: It requires one to be proactive, ready to take risks and to have passion towards in novation.
Application Process. Submission of Proposal: The candidates also need to present their complex business plan along with the problem solved, the customers, the solution provided, the model of the business, and possible outcomes.
Evaluation Criteria. Innovation: The startup should be solving a problem with a product or service which is either innovative or provides a dramatically better solution to a current issue. Feasibility: The idea is pragmatic and it is possible to implement it with the resources and the time at one’s disposal. 
Participation Conditions. Commitment: Since participants’ primary focus must be the startup, they must be willing to invest a given amount of time into the established startup, which usually ranges from six months to one year. 

 

There is also a need to include some measures related to performance monitoring and marking of achievement of the further milestones. Regular Reporting: This information is required to track the progress of the teams, which are to file progress reports monthly. Achievement of Milestones: It is necessary to determine the tangible goals that should be reached, and bonus systems depending on the KPIs assigned. Feedback Sessions: It means that the startup will have morale booster session with mentors from time to time to check progress.
Disqualification Criteria. Non-compliance: Misconduct that involves a disregard or violation of the standard set down by the policy on some aspects.
Unethical Practices: Cheating and embezzlements and other vices prohibited by law and or organizational policies.Lack of Progress: Failure to deliver results within set timelines whereby reasonable causes have not retarded the work being done.It is important to state that this policy proposed here was designed with the view to provide a clear structure that will allow for necessary flexibility at the same time to help those who want to set up a startup create a successful business.
