
TSUULL "Spirituality Caravan" outreach most vulnerable
Education is essential to prepare refugees and internally displaced persons for life, for employment and for education. Their situation is abnormal and temporary and must be resolved either by return, integration in the host country or resettlement in a third country. A decision on which course to take should be a matter of priority. Educational provision must be made for each eventuality and at all appropriate levels.
University Youth Affairs department and university professors organized "Spirituality Caravan" project which aims at providing books and educational materials for displaced people in Yakkasarayy district.
Refugee children and displaced people are offered free access "Open Lectures" which are held in our university.
In 2021, the education Working Group consisting university professors and teachers and Students' Union were merged in Yakkasaray district to meet with vulnerable people who do not have access to education. Furthermore, for partners to coordinate activities, share best practices and ensure that opportunities provided in TSUULL are based on evidence and meeting the needs of the beneficiary population on basic, higher educational levels as we as exploring cross sector coordination with livelihood sector.
It should be noted that at TSUULL necessary assistance in the form of specialized knowledge, sources, materials, methods and skills to raise awareness of refugee protection through international legal instruments and mechanisms as a central element of the refugee protection system.
