Open Lecture Series: Goal 16 and Network Governance of the UN Human Rights Council: Diplomatic, Institutional and Organizational Actors

A series of short presentations delivered, organized and hosted by TSUULL University and made accessible for all. These public-talks enhance skills related to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, while fostering the involvement of institutions of higher education as valuable stakeholders to achieve the Goals.

SDG 4 [Quality Education] aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. 
SDG 16 [Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions] provides the framework for enhancing the promotion and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms, including the examination of the work conducted by the UN Human Rights Council in this regard. Goal 16 also provides the space to consider the contribution of academia to a more equitable and just world, in which human dignity is preserved, despite prevailing global, regional, national and local challenges and circumstances.

Dr. Anatoly Boyashov is an expert at the Center of International Studies of Belarusian State University. Anatoly received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Bielefeld University in 2020. His Doctoral Project explored the prevention agenda of the UN Human Rights Council. Anatoly’s publications cover thematic areas related to human rights, international courts and tribunals, EU external action at international organizations, the interrelation between security, human rights, and development pillars of the United Nations.
