TSUULL Meets Alliance Française French Language Academic Teachers
Within the framework of Memorandum of Cooperation with the Office of Alliance Française in Tashkent mutually determined by the Institutions in April 2023, TSUULL offers the Partner to deliver on-site lectures, seminars and lessons at TSUULL.
On 6 September, 2023 TSUULL welcomed Alliance Française French Language Teachers Mr. Maxime Chene and Mr. Thèo Gardes.
This week, the French Teachers just started out the lessons. Congratulations!
Maxime and Thèo have just started their lessons to the students of the Faculty of Theory and Practice. French lessons have explored a variety of topics, from grammar and pronunciation to the history of French civilization to a cross-continental study of Francophone cultures. They also have used comprehensive French language techniques to improve reading, writing and comprehension skills for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels of students. They have taught the interpretation of French literature to Uzbek students and got them excited about diving into the French language!
Through a semester with French Teachers, students will immerse themselves in a country where French is spoken, gaining a deeper cultural awareness and a better understanding of the French language.
Maxime Chene holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Political Science from the University of Rouen-Normandie (l'Université de Rouen Normandie), Théo Gardes earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Master’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Poitiers (l’Université de Poitiers) in France.
The history of foreign language teaching in TSUULL University is almost as old as a century. The Department of ‘Theory and Practice of Translation’ is one of the leading departments of the University. The Department pays special attention to the training of translators who translate academic, artistic and other literature from Uzbek to English and other foreign languages as well as from world languages to Uzbek language. At present 6 foreign languages (Arabic, French, German, Persian, Russian and Old Uzbek) are taught at TSUULL University.
Our university has established a good system for attracting foreign experts to the University's educational process. In this regard, the basis are the contracts concluded with foreign partners, international organizations and charitable foundations.
