
TSUULL Signs a Memorandum of Cooperation with Alliance française in Tashkent, 13 April
On April 13, TSUULL University signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Alliance Française in Tashkent – an institution devoted to spreading the French language in our city: specialised in French courses for all, including adults and children and companies, it also organises language stays abroad, camps and different cultural activities. The document was signed by Prof. Nozliya Normurodova, Acting TSUULL Vice-Rector for international cooperation and Mr. Dilshod Ahmedov, Director of the French Alliance in Uzbekistan.
The French delegation was headed by Adviser on Culture and Cooperation of the French Embassy in Uzbekistan Ms. Laurent Oriol, International Expert Ms. Dominique Poli, volunteers Ms. Albane Drion, Ms. Natanael Courtillat, Ms. Milena Pace.
At the signing ceremony, representatives of both parties introduced activities of institutions, discussed potential collaboration, academic mobility, teaching Uzbek language to French volunteers during their volunteer assignment to Uzbekistan, printing the next editions of ‘Uzbek Language for Foreigners’ Textbook with special instructions in French for French speakers, teaching the theory and practice of translation (French language) for students.
The new partnership allows to strengthen cooperation and develop long-term relations aimed at the implementation of joint projects. In particular, it is planned to conduct experts and faculty exchanges, joint round tables, seminars and conferences.
