TSUULL Delegation Opened the Uzbek Language and Culture Centre During the First Kyrgyz-Uzbek Rectors' Forum in Kyrgyzstan, 3-4 October
On 3-4 October, 2023 Prof. Shuhrat Sirojiddinov, TSUULL Rector, Nodirbek Jurakuziyev, the Rector’s Adviser on Strategy and Business Development and Prof. Nozliya Normurodova, TSUULL Vice-Rector for International Cooperation attended the First Kyrgyz-Uzbek Rectors’ Forum ‘Integration, cooperation and innovation in the Higher Education System’ which was held at the B. Sodikov Kyrgyz-Uzbek University in Osh, Kyrgyzstan.
Strengthening and deepening international relations is the aim of the on-going business trip of the experts of Uzbek Delegation consisting of TSUULL University top-management and regional Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.
The Forum is devoted to such topics as further development of cooperation between higher education institutions of the two countries, sharing of experience, consideration of opportunities for joint research projects, transformation of higher education of the two countries.
The event was attended by about 70 rectors of universities and representatives of other major educational organizations of the two countries.
The friendly relations between Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic have passed through various stages of development, have been polished and raised to a new level in terms of quality, enriched with concrete practical content. These relations are rapidly developing in the fields of education and culture, various cultural centers, educational institutions. Educational institutions are being opened on the initiative of the leaders of these two countries.
As a result of these friendly relations, during the first ever Kyrgyz-Uzbek Rectors’ Forum the Uzbek Language and Culture Center was opened at the Osh State University in Kyrgyzstan. The initiative to open the Center was announced by Alisher Navo'i Tashkent State University of the Uzbek Language and Literature (TSUULL).
Mr. Khurshid Mirzohidov, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Komiljon Karimov, the First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Ulanbek Usekov, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Musa Jamanboyev, the Ambassador of Kyrgyz Republic to Uzbekistan, TSUULL Delegation led by the Rector attended the Opening Ceremony of the Center.
TSUULL donated 209 titles of art and science books in Uzbek language, 14 examples of visual arts and many Uzbek national crafts to the Center.
On this memorable day, Prof. Shuhrat Sirojiddinov, TSUULL Rector was awarded the Honorary Doctorate of the Osh State University for his worthy contribution to the development of literary and cultural relations between the two countries.
TSUULL Rector emphasized that TSUULL University will play a key role in the development of programs for teaching Uzbek language and literature in Kyrgyzstan, and will support partner universities of Kyrgyzstan in this direction in educational and methodological terms.
We believe that in the future, the relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and Uzbekistan in the field of education, science and culture will improve.
