TSUULL Participated in Rector’s Forum Poland - Uzbekistan, 26 April
On 26 April 2023, Tashkent State University of Economics hosted Rector’s Forum Poland - Uzbekistan, organized by the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (CRASP) and the Conference of Rectors of Uzbekistan under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Poland and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and in cooperation with the Embassy of Poland in Uzbekistan, Embassy of Republic of Uzbekistan in Poland and ‘Perspektywy’ Education Foundation.
The first ever Polish-Uzbekistan Rectors’ Forum was held in Tashkent and accompanied by the ‘Study in Poland’ Presentations of Polish Universities. The delegation of rectors of more than 20 Polish universities to the conference, aimed at developing cooperation in education and research. Forum in Tashkent allows universities from Poland and Uzbekistan to get to know each other better. First, during the plenary session, both sides presented their achievements and expectations. In the second part, was a ’round table’ of rectors of the different types of universities, which provided an opportunity for universities to use the Forum directly to format the scope and dimension of possible cooperation.
TSUULL Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Ms. Nozliya Normurodova pointed out that:
— 'The Forum served as an important platform for the comprehensive expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the field of education and bringing it to a new level'
