WAYS OF WORKING WITH INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION BASE “SCOPUS”
A seminar dedicated to Scopus-the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature and quality web sources took place in our university. A particular attention was paid to finding relevant and authoritative research at a brisk pace, identifying experts and getting access to reliable data, metrics and analytical tools.
Nodir Jurako’ziev, the Head of Scientific Researches Department as the main speaker at the seminar focused on to the way of searching for the official Scopus List of Indexed Journals and publishing articles on Scopus journal. Recommendations on citation tracking, flexible search, graph results, compare sources and bibliographic management were also made. The information considered on the seminar was extremely useful for university teachers for further participating in QS ranking.
