Uzbek Language Day Celebrated at Uzbek School
The Uzbek School under Alisher Navo'i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature hosted a vibrant celebration dedicated to the Uzbek Language Day.
During the event, American students performed traditional Uzbek lapar songs and recited poems, including excerpts from the ghazals of Alisher Navo'i. Their heartfelt performances captivated the audience and were met with warm applause and admiration.
To date, Uzbek School has evolved into an international educational center that has taught the Uzbek language and culture to more than 600 foreign learners. The center’s activities serve to strengthen friendship, foster cultural dialogue, and promote international cooperation.
As part of the event, Korean volunteers from the Korea International Development Cooperation (KIDC) successfully completed a 135-hour Uzbek language training program and celebrated their graduation ceremony.

Within the framework of this project, the Korean volunteers not only studied the Uzbek language but also gained a deeper understanding of national traditions, customs, and culture. The graduation ceremony was harmoniously combined with the celebration of Uzbek Language Day.

At the conclusion of the event, certificates were awarded to the Korean graduates, along with letters of appreciation for their genuine interest in the Uzbek language and culture.
The celebration took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, filled with the spirit of love for the Uzbek language, mutual respect, and cultural partnership.
