Uzbek language and culture are widely promoted in Korea; Meeting with Pr. Ye Cheon at Hanguk University of Foreign Languages, 10 July

Professor Ye Cheon, head of the Department of Central Asian Studies of South Korea's Hanguk University of Foreign Languages, was a guest at our university. She also visited the "Uzbek school" at our university, where she got acquainted with the experience of teaching the Uzbek language to foreigners.
Professor Ye Cheon also acknowledged the high interest of Koreans in learning the Uzbek language, which indicates the growing demand for Uzbek language education in South Korea. Mrs. Ye Cheon proposed to establish the "Uzbek language and culture" center in cooperation with Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature in order to widely promote the Uzbek language and culture. This cooperation between the two universities can promote cultural exchange and create opportunities for Korean students interested in Uzbek language and culture.

During the negotiations, specific plans for the establishment of this center were developed. These plans included details of curriculum development, faculty exchange programs, cultural events, and other initiatives aimed at promoting the Uzbek language and culture in South Korea.
