UZBEK CUISINE IN THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD

As previously reported, a KOICA volunteer is studying Uzbek language at Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature. Along with learning the language, she is being immersed into Uzbek culture via learning Uzbek national values and traditions. Last week, a master class on our national dance and handicrafts were held.
Today, the Korean guests, together with representatives of TSUULL International Cooperation office, attended a master class on how to cook Uzbek cuisine, namely somsa and pilav. It is worth mentioning that Uzbek cuisine, which has had a special place in the Eastern world for centuries, has given a special joy and spirit to our Korean friends.
Also, in the next part of the day, our guests visited the bakery. Bread, which is believed to be an internal part of the Uzbek table, and its preparation made a special impression on our foreign friends.
