TSUULL TO STRENGTHEN GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP
Rector of Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, Professor, Shuhrat Sirojiddinov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Nozliya Normurodova welcomed Press Adviser of the Turkish Embassy Hamdi Turshuju today.
The sides discussed a number of issues related to the development of cooperation. In particular, the participation of representatives of Hodja Tepa University in the "Congress of Turkic Languages" to be held at our university in November 2022. It is also planned to establish academic exchange between both universities.
In addition, proposals were discussed to develop cooperation between Uzbek and Turkish publishers, to cooperate in the field of translation, to open a special organization for translation and publishing. It is also expected that the masterpieces of Uzbek literature presented by the rector of our university will be published in Turkey. Hamdi Turshuju, Press Adviser of the Turkish Embassy, expressed gratitude to Shukhrat Sirojiddinov, Rector of the University.
Or Rector confirmed that the cooperation will continue for many years.
For information, Mr. Hamdi Turshuju is currently teaching Uzbek language at a number of universities in Uzbekistan, including Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and the Uzbek University of Journalism and Mass Communications.
