TSUULL starts its partnership with Sakarya University of Applied Sciences in Türkiye, 21 August
On August 21, 2023, a delegation led by Mehmet Saribiyik, Rector of Sakarya University of Applied Sciences of Türkiye (SAU), visited TSUULL. The delegation included Sinan Serdar Ozkan, Professor of the Faculty of Technology, and Serhat Kujuk, Head of the Scientific and Practical Center of Language Education. The delegation was welcomed by the Rector of TSUULL – Prof. Shuhrat Samariddinov. The guests were introduced to the history, missions and future plans of the university. The guests mentioned that even though Sakarya University has been established for only 5 years, it is advanced in training potential personnel.
The Sakarya University is a public research university located in Sakarya, Türkiye. Established in 1992, it is one of the leading universities in the country and offers a wide range of academic programs and research opportunities.
To build longstanding connections between institutions, TSUULL and SAU entered into an agreement. There are several main components to the relationship: collaboration in the fields of tourism and digital technologies, joint implementation of various large-scale projects in interest of both parties. In particular, within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, specific suggestions were made regarding the preparation of new projects, the introduction of technologies that serve to save water and maintain environmental cleanliness.
The negotiations have been finalized and reflected in the Memorandum of Cooperation and signed by the Rectors of both universities.
