TSUULL: A LEADING ADVOCATE IN THE FIGHT AGAINST POVERTY ON LOCAL AND GLOBAL FRONTS

In addition to its active participation in policy-making at various levels local, regional, national, and global Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature stands as a committed advocate for the implementation of programs and policies aimed at eradicating poverty in all its dimensions.
Currently, the inaugural Uzbek-Tajik Rectors' Forum is underway in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. A delegation from TSUULL is participating in this significant event, further reaffirming its dedication to addressing poverty-related challenges.
During the forum, TSUULL solidified cooperation agreements with four esteemed higher education institutions in Tajikistan. These institutions include Tajikistan International University of Foreign Languages named after S. Ulugzoda, Khojand State University named after B. Gafurov, Panjikent State Pedagogical University named after S. Aini, and Panjikent State Pedagogical Institute, all of which are now our partners. These memorandums encompass crucial matters such as integrating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into education, facilitating student exchanges through academic mobility programs, organizing joint scientific seminars, conferences, and forums, enhancing the accessibility of Tajik students to study both online and offline at TSUULL, and encouraging the publication of articles authored by professors, researchers, and students in the scientific publications of our partner higher education institutions.

Establishing Sustainable Collaborations
Furthermore, TSUULL, as a proactive contributor to policy-making efforts, discussed collaborative policy-making initiatives across various academic disciplines. These initiatives aim to support students and address poverty in all its forms during their educational journeys. The university's rector highlighted the existing policies and emphasized the need for further practical implementation and international exchange of best practices. This proposal received a warm reception from academics representing our partner universities. It is our collective ambition that these collaborations will contribute significantly to the global endeavor to end poverty in all its dimensions.
