Trip to Samarkand

Every region of our country has its own unique tourist charm. Visiting ancient historical monuments and learning about our rich cultural heritage not only fosters a sense of national identity, respect for traditions and values, but also encourages individuals to study the history of their homeland and take pride in the legacy of their ancestors.

On March 21 of this year, 63 talented students of the Faculty of Uzbek Philology, accompanied by their tutors, traveled to the city of Samarkand.

During the trip, our students visited significant historical sites such as Gur-i Amir, Registan, Bibi-Khanum Mosque, Shah-i Zinda Complex, and Ulugh Beg Observatory.

Importantly, for 37 participants who come from low-income families, all travel, accommodation, and food expenses were fully covered by the University, ensuring that financial barriers did not prevent talented students from exploring their cultural heritage.
