STRENGTHENING EXISTING TIES: RECTOR SH.SIROJIDDINOV MEETS WITH TURKISH EMBASSY REPRESENTATIVES
An effective cooperation between Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature and Turkish educational institutions have been established till now. Ali Eyyub Koja, Education Adviser of the Turkish Embassy in Uzbekistan, paid a courtesy call on TSUULL on February 17th. The guest was welcomed by the Rector of the university Shuhrat Sirojiddinov as well as the Vice-rector for International Cooperation Nozliya Normurodova. The next stages of mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed during the meeting. Currently, two Turkish language instructors teach Turkish to students at the Turkish Language Centre established at our university. Apart from this, sides considered the issue of establishing a scientific centre studying and teaching the history, language, literature and culture of the Turkic peoples.
Moreover, the future prospects of implementation the training of translators in Turkish at the Faculty of Translation Theory and Practice was also consulted.
Undoubtedly, this cooperation embodies the noble goals of the two brotherly countries, which provide a bright future for scientists and students.
