Seminar series for Academic staff of TSUULL
From January 5 to January 7, 2023, university organizes special seminars and trainings for professors and teachers.
Today, one of the first training sessions was held. The seminars and trainings organized in order to further develop the scientific and international activities of professors and teachers are important because of their relevance.
In particular, the first session of the day was conducted by M. Joliyev, one of the outstanding scientists of our country, recognized by the international scientific community, on the topic "Publishing articles in prestigious scientific journals". In this lecture, the stages and requirements of preparing articles for journals included in prestigious scientific databases such as Scopus and Web of Science were discussed.
The lecture by the vice-rector for international cooperation of the university, doctor of philology N. Normurodova was on the topic "Formation of the professor-teacher page on the university website based on the requirements of the KPI system" which can be considered as a logical continuation of the initial training. In this training, the primary conditions for being recognized as a scientist in the virtual world were explained in detail.
In the report by the head of the international rankings department Z. Hakimova the issues of the topic "Important indicators for taking a place in international rankings", were discussed. The university's participation in international ratings and high results, which must be implemented by professors is important. It should be noted that the pedagogical team of the Higher Education Institution, which has achieved good results in international rankings, is also highly respected by the international scientific community. In such rankings, only universities with a strong and cohesive team in all respects will have a high score. In general, at today's seminars and trainings, each participant gained great theoretical knowledge on how to take a worthy place in the scientific, international and Internet networks based on today's requirements.
