OVERVIEW
Guest lecture on elimination of all forms of discrimination in education was held and the participants have been given a copy of the ratified UNESCO Convention against Discrimination in Education to familiarize themselves with their fundamental rights and state’s obligations to ensure free and compulsory education, and ban any kind of discrimination promoting equality of educational opportunity. As such, the Convention represents a powerful tool to advance the 4th Sustainable Development Goal ‘to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all’.
