Priorly, she held a constituent Assembly of the National Council of the Independent Civil Society with a Representative Office in Tashkent, where she united activists from different regions of Uzbekistan under one idea at the end of December, 2021. The main goal of the Council is to involve citizens in active participation in the life of society, control over the observance of human rights issues and work on the democratization of society. Members of this Council are now actively involved in public life, working to highlight social issues in their areas, raise public awareness and find solutions to problems. She studied at the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in the field of Philology. She is engaged in scientific activities and in August 2021 received a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree in Philology from the Supreme Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Also, three of her prose collections were published, and in March 2020 she was admitted to the membership of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan.

Discrimination remains pervasive in education, whether on the basis of disability, gender, language, income, ethnicity, religion, migration or displacement status. About 258 million children and youth around the world are out of school, while 773 million adults, two-thirds of whom are women, are illiterate, according to data from UNESCO’s Institute for Statistics.

Education systems must integrate rights-based, inclusive and non-discriminatory practices, in line with the obligations of the UNESCO Convention against Discrimination in Education. The Convention calls countries to establish or upgrade policy and/or legal frameworks to meet international standards, guarantee the right to education and counter discrimination. As such, the Convention represents a powerful tool to advance the 4th Sustainable Development Goal ‘to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all’.
