PHILOLOGY ISSUES THROUGH THE EYES OF YOUNG RESEARCHERS

The "Young Philologist Scholars" conference has become an annual tradition aimed at guiding students towards scientific activities and fostering innovative thinking, while also supporting young scholars in the field of philology both within the country and globally. Held by the initiative of the "Young Philologist Scholars" society at the Alisher Navoiy Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, the scientific-practical conference titled "Philology Issues Through the Eyes of Young Researchers" has grown to be a prominent event. Currently, nearly 1,200 students are members of this society.
On November 30, 2023, the eighth edition of the conference was organized, with participants presenting their scientific articles from leading universities across countries such as Russia, South Korea, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. The event gathered scholars from 15 top universities worldwide.

Each year, the number of participants continues to rise. In the 2022 academic year, 151 papers were submitted, while this year the number reached an impressive 310. The conference’s opening session was led by Professor Shuhrat Sirojiddinov, Rector of Alisher Navoiy Tashkent State University, who congratulated the participants and expressed confidence in the students' potential.

The conference covered a wide range of topics, including Turkic linguistics, general linguistics, world literature, comparative literature, translation studies, Turkic peoples’ literature, folklore studies, dialectology, and teaching methods of language and literature.
At the end of the conference, each participant was awarded a certificate, with the authors of the best works in categories such as "Most Relevant Article," "Best Scientifically Grounded Article," and "Most Diligent Young Specialist" being honored with diplomas. This annual event continues to provide a platform for young scholars to showcase their work, share knowledge, and engage with international peers.
