Normurodоva Nozliya Zarilovna

Vice-Rector of International affairs


Doctor of Philology (DSc), Associate Professor Normuradova Nozliya Zarilovna has been working as a Vice-Rector of International affairs at Alisher Navoi' Tashkent State University of Uzbek language and Literature since 2021. From the initial days of the establishment of Alisher Navoi' Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature in 2016, Normurodova was the head of English Philology Department and then Intercultural communication and Tourism on the recommendation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

She was a head of Stylistics department at Uzbekistan State World Languages university (2012-2014), chair of the Department of Implementation of “Common European Framework of Reference: Learning, Teaching and Assessment” at National Research Centre for the Development of Innovative Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages” (2014-2016).

Normurodova Nozliya Zarilovna has graduated from Uzbekistan State University of World Languages in 2009 with a Master's degree in Linguistics (English). Successfully defending PhD dissertation in 2012 under the theme of “Expression of Linguistic Personality in literary dialogue” and doctoral dissertation in 2020 entitled “Verbal Explication of Antropothentric Paradigm in Discourse”, she succeeded in receiving the academic degree of Doctor of Philology (DSc).

She is capable of speaking in 4 languages, including Russian, English, French, Turkish. She trained in a great deal of universities in foreign countries such as France, Spain, Turkey, Russia, Norway, Malta, Italy, Romania. In particular, she has trained in France Caen university in 2013, Voronezh State university in 2015, Norway Tromso university in 2018, Malta university, Russia - MGIMO, MGU university in the field of simultaneous and written translation language teaching methods.

She is a visiting lecturer at Barcelona university in Spain in 2016, the winner of a competition in Paris under IIEP, France in 2017, a participant in the Summer School for Women Leaders, winner of the International Erasmus International Youth Policy Projects (Italy), and the International Erasmus project on Gender equality (Norway), coordinator of the joint master's program assembled in cooperation with Ankara Haji Bayram Vali University.

N.Normuradova was recognized  as an active and creative organizer by Ministry of Higher and Secondary-Specialized Education, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Erasmus + National Office, the British Council, UNESCO and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. She has attracted the attention of a number of embassies and is closely involved in the organization of international symposiums and conferences in the country.

Normuradova Nozliya during her stay in France, Spain, Norway, Turkey, Malta, Russia and Romania in the 2014-2020 academic years has established close cooperation between TSUUL and foreign universities to train foreign language teachers, improve simultaneous translation, fulfill academic mobility and conferences. Currently, Normuradova is leading the implementation of more than 30 contracts of the university.
