Lectures on Alisher Navoi's Legacy and Turkic Culture in Türkiye

Turkish students were privileged to attend a lecture on the literary contributions of Alisher Navo'i, presented by a team of scholars from Alisher Navo'i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature. Alisher Navo'i's significance extends beyond the Uzbek community, resonating deeply within all Turkic nations. These lectures, hosted by the Faculty of Literature at Bursa Uludağ University in commemoration of the 583rd anniversary of Navo'i's birth, delved into diverse topics, including Turkology, contemporary and modern Uzbek literature, and Turkic languages. 

His contributions extend beyond regional borders, influencing diverse fields such as literature, linguistics, poetry, and cultural identity. His works, written in Persian and Chagatai Turkic, showcase his mastery of language and poetic form, earning him recognition worldwide.

His literary legacy continues to resonate worldwide, with his poetry celebrated for its depth, beauty, and philosophical insights. His themes of love, humanity, and spiritual enlightenment transcend cultural boundaries, captivating audiences across generations and continents. Moreover, efforts in promoting cultural and intellectual exchange fostered connections between diverse communities, contributing to the enrichment of global cultural heritage.

 

In addition to his literary achievements, his role as a statesman, scholar, and patron of the arts further underscores his global significance. His advocacy for education and the arts left a lasting impact on the intellectual landscape of his time and continues to inspire scholars and artists worldwide.

Esteemed professors and educators from our institution, such as Hamidulla Dadaboyev, Nurboy Jabbarov, Zulkhumor Kholmanova, Uzok Dzhorakulov, Dilnavoz Yusupova, Nusratullah Jumakhoja, Iqboloy Adizova, and Ozoda Tojiboyeva, delivered engaging lectures at Uludağ University, earning praise from both students and local scholars for their informative presentations.  Additionally, Professor Zulkhumor Kholmanova delivered a captivating lecture titled "Babur - A Great Personality" at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Bursa.
