AN INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC SEMINAR ON "ETYMOLOGY RESEARCH ON TURKISH LANGUAGES" WAS ORGANIZED

An international scientific seminar on “ETYMOLOGY RESEARCH ON TURKISH LANGUAGES” was held in Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature on 20th of January in cooperation with four outstanding Turkish universities including Istanbul University, Marmara University, Suleyman Demirel University, and Bilejek Sheikh Edebeli University. The scientific seminar was opened by Zaynabiddin Abdirashidov, the vice-rector of research and innovation, Doctor of Philology.
The vice-rector for International Cooperation, Doctor of Philology Nozliya Normurodova and Hayati Develi, the dean of the faculty of literature, Doctor of Philology, Professor of Istanbul University commented on the importance of the cooperation, the reforms in etymology and the books and brochures planned to be created. 
Throughout the seminar a lot of speeches by most of the reputable professors were listened with eager. Well-known professors, namely Hamidulla Dadaboev, Zulxumor Xolmanova, Ibrahim Tash, and Faysal Okan gave speeches about famous masterpieces, such as “Devonu lug‘otit turk”, “Boburnoma”, “‘Zıtlık’ ve ‘Yakınlık’ İlkesi”, “Sözlükçülük” respectively. Moreover, future plans related to the seminar were made. The international scientific seminar was attended by professors, doctoral and master's students of partner organizations as well as representatives of universities in Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Russia.
