AN INTERESTING DISCUSSION ON UZBEK LITERATURE AND FOLKLORE AT EGE UNIVERSITY

Abdumurod Tilavov, an associate professor at Alisher Navo'i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, is currently on a working visit to Turkey. Today, he visited the Ege University and presented a memorandum of cooperation signed by the rector of our university. Professor Yusuf Ozkan, Head of the Department of Modern Turkic Dialects and Literature, and his students had a lively discussion on Uzbek modern literature and folklore. Abdumurod Tilavov said he was very pleased with the interest of foreign students in Uzbek literature, language and culture.
"I was happy to see most Uzbek books on the bookshelves of Turkish teachers," he said.
