Information service

The Information Service is an independent department of the Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature and reports directly to the rector of the university. The Information Service carries out its activities in close cooperation with the departments, faculties of Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature and other relevant services of public authorities and administration.

Duties:
- Mass media about the activities of Tashkent State Agrarian University: regular, complete and prompt information to the public through social networks, the official website of the university, as well as other information resources, including through the organization of press conferences, briefings, mediations;
- to inform and cover the process of socio-political and socio-economic development of the country at the university;
to form and promote a positive image of the university, to conduct public opinion polls and other forms of public opinion research;
- to establish effective practical cooperation with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education in the implementation of its tasks in the field of information policy;
- to form a group of experts to ensure effective cooperation with the media, the dissemination of timely information to journalists and bloggers working with the service, as well as the participation of the general public in the discussion of draft regulations;
- to organize regular speeches of the rector and vice-rectors of the university in the media;
- to monitor and analyze the information space, to respond quickly to critical and widely discussed information attacks, to organize the dissemination of information related to the activities of the university in the media and the Internet;
- together with the university to prepare news, information, reviews and other information-analytical materials for distribution through local and foreign media;
- to study public opinion about the activities of the university, the position of the national and foreign media, to develop relevant proposals and to inform the management about them;
- to place the drafts of normative legal acts within the competence of the ministry and the university and their approved texts in the prescribed manner on their official websites;
- to formate and update of a database of text, photo, audio and video materials related to the activities of the university.

Rights and responsibilities of the information service:
The Service has the following rights to perform the tasks and functions assigned to it:
- Request information from other departments of the university, departmental organizations in the prescribed manner to perform the tasks and functions of the Service;
- Participate in the meetings, conferences and other events of the University;
- Submit proposals to the University for improvement of information policy, draft regulations on the activities of the Service for consideration by management.
In addition, the quality and timeliness of the tasks assigned to him;
is responsible for ensuring impartial, quality and prompt coverage of the university's activities in the national and foreign media.
