COOPERATION WITH PRESTIGIOUS UNIVERSITIES OF KAZAKHSTAN WAS ESTABLISHED
A delegation of Serik Nurkenov, Professor of Astana International University, Kazakhstan, and Shirin Kauanova, Executive Representative of Shokarim University visited Alisher Navoi Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature. They were greeted by Sultan Normamatov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Zaynobiddin Abdurashidov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, professors and teachers of the Faculty of Uzbek Philology and officials of the International Department. The main purpose of the visit is to establish cooperation between the universities which are close relative and of the neighboring countries, to work together to increase scientific potential. In particular, the main tasks of the cooperation are to organize a series of conferences on the promotion of the language and literature of the Turkic peoples, to attract students to summer schools, to create conditions for the exchange of experiences between professors and teachers.
The tasks which were set out in this memorandum will soon show practical results.
