Bottom financial quintile student success

Target:
To work predominantly with students and also with mature learners to provide forms of support aimed at reducing unnecessary barriers to higher education.
We focus particularly on students in the following categories:

From low income families

Young carers

Classified as having a disability

Estranged from their families

Forced Migrants

From military families

Following our analysis of institutional data, and taking our local context into account, we will prioritize the following groups for our sustained engagement programs and other highly targeted work:

Students from low income families

Classified as having a disability

Our strategy:

TSUULL students falling into below-mentioned categories follow the step-by-step plan to get financial support. Student Support Community is responsible for collecting required documents (contact for more information) and inform the University authorities. Selected documents of students who are the most in need are send to Accounting Department where students can get monthly bursaries.
TSUULL not only encourages people who have short incomes to begin studying here but also provides different means of supporting them during their studies all year round. It includes set of measurements as:

  • • Delivering state bursaries

50% support for every student who live in dormitories.
