Founded the basis of the II Festival of Youth of the East at Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University. The festival prepared the culture, traditions and national values of the Uzbek, Korean, Arab, Iranian, Kazakh and Turkish peoples. At this year's festival, students of Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami sang the culture of the Kazakh nation, and students of the Tashkent branch of Puchon University of Korea sang the culture of the Korean nation. The festival continued to prepare national dishes of all nations. Tashkent State Pedagogical University was founded on the initiative of the head professor of the Department of Oriental Languages.
International cooperation agreement. On September 10, 2020, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Saudi Electronic University and Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of the Uzbek Language and Literature. According to the agreement, students of the University of Uzbek Language and Literature will use the program of the e-university "Learn Arabic via the Internet." The agreement was signed by the rector of the Saudi e-university, Dr. Laylak bint Ahmad as-Safadi, and the representative of Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of the Uzbek Language and Literature, Associate Professor of Oriental Languages Murtazo Saydumarov.
The Saudi e-University is a public higher education institution established in the country in 2011, which was the first to introduce distance learning and continuing education. The university includes the Faculty of Management and Finance, the Faculty of Medical Sciences, the Faculty of Information Technology, the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Theoretical Research. The university offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees as well as continuing education and lifelong learning courses.
