YOUNG READERS AWARDED AT TSUULL
On April 13, Alisher Navo'i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature hosted an awarding ceremony of the winners of "Young Readers" contest.
The Dean of the Faculty of Uzbek Philology, Doctor of Philology, professor Bakhtiyor Abdushukurov, Doctor of Philology, professor Bahodir Karimov, Doctor of Philology, professor Nurboy Jabborov, Doctor of Philology Uzok Jurakulov congratulated the winners. While congratulating them, the teachers emphasized the importance and usefulness of reading to all participants.
Earlier, we reported that 3 students of our university took an active part in the district, regional and national stages of the competition "Young Reader" in April 2022 and won honorable places. Sevinch Avazova, a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Uzbek Philology, won the President's prize. The second place winner was awarded with 10 million soums.
Our aim is to ensure that all girls and boys complete free, equitable and quality education leading to relevant and effective learning outcomes, by motivating them we may encourage them to read more.
