The Vice-Rector Holds an Open Dialogue with Researchers
On January 13–14, the Vice-Rector for Research,Innovations and International Cooperation at Alisher Navo'i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, N. Normurodova, conducted meetings with postgraduate researchers.
On January 13, a meeting was held with 149 first-year doctoral students. During the session, detailed information was provided about studying in the doctoral program, monitoring academic progress, selecting research topics, and collaborating with academic advisors. It was also highlighted that seminars involving local and international experts will be organized twice a month for first-year doctoral students. These seminars aim to strengthen their theoretical knowledge and enhance the effectiveness of their research activities.
On January 14, a dialogue was conducted with second-year doctoral students. The discussion focused on completing designated parts of their dissertations, properly directing their research efforts, and preparing for the defense process. Special attention was also given to addressing challenges faced by the students and providing them with support and solutions.
These meetings aimed to facilitate the effective organization of doctoral students' research activities while reinforcing their theoretical and practical knowledge.
