Uzbek School First Anniversary Celebration, 30 November

TSUULL has undertaken important tasks such as increasing the influence of the Uzbek Language and Literature, widely promoting the national language and developing special methods for teaching it.

On 30 November 2023, the School organised a unique event to celebrate its achievements with the School Community.

Congratulations to the united and creative team that managed to implement large-scale projects on teaching Uzbek language and culture to foreigners during the year 2022/2023!

As the President noted in his greetings to Uzbek people on the occasion of the Uzbek Language Day on 21 October:

– ‘Hundreds of foreign citizens learn the basics of Uzbek language and culture with great interest at the Uzbek School established at TSUULL’ –

In November 2022, the presentation of the Uzbek School – Language Preparation Course For Foreigners was held at TSUULL International Office. Uzbek School is a new project within TSUULL University. It combines over 75 years of experience in the Uzbek Language of TSUULL University – the Faculty of Uzbek Language and Literature was the first to start functioning in 1935.
The academic board is the fundamental unit of the School and it is responsible for ensuring academic quality and high standards in the field of teaching, learning, collaboration with international partners and the integration of graduates into the professional community.

In the Uzbek school, the Uzbek language is taught using the most modern methods and tools, in small, medium groups or individually, according to the wishes of language learners. In preparatory courses, the Uzbek language is taught in forms integrated into various fields, for example, the Uzbek language in the business sector, the Uzbek language for representatives of the diplomatic field, etc.
Today the activity of this center is expanding. Uzbek School is also very advanced in terms of increasing interest in learning the Uzbek language and creating quality free content for independent language learners. Currently, special free online lessons, various free rubrics aimed at learning the Uzbek language are regularly prepared and shared on various social networks. This center is not limited to language teaching, it also holds special master classes on Uzbek culture. This is a unique aspect of the Uzbek School.

Young and tirelessly working teachers created textbooks ‘Uzbek language for foreigners’ (for A1 and A2 levels) based on their experience and international standards of teaching the Uzbek language to foreigners.
The audio-visual materials attached to the book introduce the specific features of the phonetics of the Uzbek language, as well as the lexical layer used in various situational situations through dialogues reflected in the texts.

Audio and video materials are included to increase the high quality and practical value of the textbook. With the help of the textbook, it is intended that language learners acquire pragmatic competences, such as choosing the necessary language tools in familiar situations, being able to express thoughts coherently in oral and written speech in ordinary situations.

As the president noted in his holiday greetings to our people on the occasion of the Uzbek language day on October 21, "Hundreds of foreign citizens are studying the basics of our native language and national culture with great interest at the "Uzbek school" established at the university.
