Uzbek National Popular Music and the Face of Uzbekistan – Public-Talk by Leora Eisenberg, 27 September 2024

TSUULL University contributes to the UN SDG through its teaching and community projects. TSUULL Public Talks is a part of the University's efforts to contribute knowledge, thought-leadership and innovative ideas to the region.

The Program showcases dynamic speakers through a number of community-focused talks across a range of disciplines, encouraging debates on SDG issues like mental health, gender equality, poverty, peace justice and strong institutions etc. This is a chance to hear first-hand from world-leading researchers and subject-matter experts speaking on topics that affect us all.

Speaker – Leora Eisenberg is a PhD student in History at Harvard University and graduated with a BA in Slavic Languages and Literatures from Princeton University in 2020. She is the recipient of awards and honors such as the American Councils Title VIII Research Scholar Award, Critical Language Scholarship, Princeton University Labouisse Prize, and others.
