Unlimited Opportunities

On December 3, 2024, Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature held a special event dedicated to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. This event demonstrated the University’s strong commitment to social responsibility and its ongoing efforts to protect the rights and interests of students with disabilities.

During the event, special attention was given to female students with disabilities, and an open dialogue was held with them. Participants discussed ways to provide support tailored to students’ needs and interests. In addition, motivating initiatives aimed at increasing their social engagement and helping them fully realize their potential were reviewed.

The primary goal of this event was to promote the social inclusion of young people with disabilities, create suitable conditions for their academic and personal development, and ensure the protection of their rights. Through continuous initiatives in this area, the University remains dedicated not only to providing education, but also to ensuring that students can actively and confidently participate in social life.

Activities like this play an important role in empowering young individuals with disabilities, helping them demonstrate their abilities and reinforcing their value as integral members of society.

Moreover, the University provides targeted support not only to students with disabilities, but also to students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds. By offering financial assistance, scholarships, and necessary social support, the University strives to ensure equal opportunities for all learners and to help every student achieve academic success regardless of financial barriers.
