TSUULL VICE-RECTOR REPRESENTS UZBEKISTAN AT ERASMUS+ HERE ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN BARCELONA

In a remarkable representation of Uzbekistan's commitment to higher education reform, Professor Dr. Nozliya Normurodova, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at Alisher Navo'i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, took center stage at the Erasmus+ HERE Annual Conference held in Barcelona, Spain, on December 4-5, 2023.
The conference, themed 'Higher Education Policy Reform for Impact,' brought together esteemed higher education professionals and reform experts from across the globe. Professor Dr. Normurodova, also serving as the National Team Higher Education Reform Expert for Erasmus+ Uzbekistan HERE Team, contributed to the discourse on 'Innovation and Digitalization of Learning and the Impacts of Internationalization' during the panel session.
Organized by the European Commission's initiative, 'Centralized Support to the Network of Higher Education Reform Experts (HERE),' the conference serves as a pivotal platform for community building, networking, and the exchange of best practices among HERE members. HERE experts, nominated by their respective governments in EU Neighbourhood countries, play a crucial role in catalyzing higher education reform, facilitated by training opportunities provided by SPHERE (Centralized Support for Higher Education Reform Experts).
The 2023 Annual Conference focused on several key objectives, including reflection on the re-launch of the SPHERE contract, a special emphasis on greening in higher education, and providing an information-sharing space for current reform priorities linked to the HERE Team annual work plans.
As Professor Dr. Normurodova represented Uzbekistan on the international stage, she showcased the nation's dedication to advancing higher education policies aligned with global trends and standards. Her active participation in the conference exemplifies Uzbekistan's commitment to staying at the forefront of higher education reform, fostering collaborations, and contributing to the global dialogue on the future of education.
