TSUULL Students Visits Publishing and Printing House ‘Uzbekistan’, 27 November
On 27 November 2023, TSUULL 3rd year Bachelor Students and Ms. Uldona Abdurahmonova, TSUULL Lecturer of the Faculty of Uzbek Language Education visited Publishing and Printing House ‘Uzbekistan’. During the visit, the Publishing House conducted a lesson on the topic of ‘Cover and Text Design Concept’ based on the work process.
Publishing House ‘Uzbekistan’ Editor-in-Chief Mr. Azimboy Babaniyazov gave detailed information to the students about the processes that take place before the various materials that come to the publishing house are ready to be printed in the form of books. Ms. Shahnoza Abdullayeva, the Engineer, organized a creative tour of each stage. As a result, students observed the activities carried out in each department. They were especially interested in the development process of textbooks being prepared for publication in Braille. The work of Proofreader, Editor, Designer, Pager, Technical staff was introduced in detail.
Then the teachers and the publishing staff answered the questions about the harmony of the cover and the text that interested the students.
