TSUULL Organised International Scientific-Practical Seminar On ‘Modern Directions of Turkology’, 4 December
On 4 December 2023, an International Scientific Seminar on ‘Modern Directions of Turkology’ was organized at TSUULL. Professor Zulkhumor Kholmanova, TSUULL Head of the Department of Uzbek Linguistics, Doctor of Philology, opened the seminar with an introduction and said that the importance of international cooperation in the context of globalization has increased, and joint research of the problems waiting to be solved in the field of Turkology is a guarantee of achieving effective results.
Professor Odina Jamoldinova, TSUULL Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations; Bobojon Gafurov, Academician; Associate Professor Bahrom Jabbarov, Dean of the Faculty of Uzbek Philology of Khujand State University talked about practical results of cooperation between universities and discussed future plans.
Yavuz Kartallioglu, Professor of Ankara Haji Bayram Vali University, Director of the Scientific Research Institute of Turkology of Khoja Ahmed Yassavi International Kazakh-Turkish University; Dr. Bulent Bayram, Director of the Center for Studies of the Turkic World of Azerbaijan FA Linguistics University; Professor Elchin Ibrohimov, Professors of the Department of Uzbek Linguistics of TSUULL, Dr. Muhaiyo Hakimova, Munavvara Qurbanova, Associate Professor of the International Kyrgyz-Turkish University named after Manas; Doctor of Philology Erdal Aydog'mush, Academician Bobojon Gafurov; Khojand State University Associate Professor Abdunazar Rahmangulov's lectures on current issues of Turkology were listened to with interest. The speakers answered the questions of the seminar participants.
Professors and teachers, doctoral students and researchers also expressed their suggestions and comments at the seminar. The Head of the Department of Uzbek Linguistics, Doctor of Philology, Professor Zulkhumor Kholmanova expressed her opinion on the lectures heard at the seminar and expressed her gratitude to the speakers and participants. He noted that practical works will be launched based on the proposals made on the issues discussed at this international scientific seminar.
