TSUULL International Office Representatives Delivered Workshop on ‘How to Write a Motivation Letter and How to Develop a Good Application’ at EU Education Fair, 9 October
On 9 October, 2023 TSUULL Representatives Ms. Zaure Kertaeva, Lecturer and FEP Alumna and Ms. Lucy Aysaeva, Partnerships and Marketing Manager delivered the Workshop on how to write the motivational letter and how to develop a good application.
The workshop was organized in the framework of the first day of the European Union Education Fair, with the aim of giving Uzbek students a deeper understanding of the appeal of studying in Europe. Lots of high-quality, internationally recognized Bachelor's and Master's Programs are offered in English or other European languages across Europe.
The EU Education Fair, supported by Team Europe, echoes the messages of the European Year of Skills, emphasizing lifelong-learning. Additionally, it resonates with Uzbekistan's Year of Human Care and Quality Education, symbolizing our shared commitment to nurturing skills and fostering high-quality education in the country. Co-organizers are EU Member States and the National Erasmus+ Office in Uzbekistan.
Students learned how to prepare an application, how the selection process works and got some tips for performing better in every step of the selection process. Following the Workshop, students gained a better understanding of what application readers are looking for when they read an application, which experiences they need to highlight when applying for a certain position and learn a number of important phrases and vocabulary that are extremely useful when writing these types of letters.
Also the speakers shared their experience applying for FEP (Faculty Enrichment Program) Program and UNV (United Nations Volunteers) and how they themselves successfully crafted their application as well as sharing the loads of information that they learned about the process.
The lecture was held in English and was also attended by more than 50+ students. The topic aroused great interest, thus many questions ensued.
