TSUULL Hosts a Public-Talk on Water Management in Central Asia in the Era of SDGs, 20 September

In line with the WWD 2023 theme ‘Accelerate Change‘, the public lecture includes discussion to analyze different roles and values that water offers as well as how these values can be synthesized to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation.

On 20 September 2023, Mr. Mirsaid Uzakov, Graduate of OSCE Academy in Bishkek, Positive Youth Development Specialist at Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia, delivered a guest lecture entitled ‘SDG 6: Value of Water in the Era of SDGs’, which took place at International Office Hall on Wednesday, and provided valuable insights into the ongoing challenges related to water management issues in Central Asia region.

The lecture was held both in Uzbek and English and was also attended by more than 20 students. The topic aroused great interest, students were very much interested in the lecture and used the opportunity to ask their questions during the discussion session.
Sustainable Development Goal 6 which is related to the lecture theme, is one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations in 2015.
