TSUULL attends training sessions funded by the ERASMUS+ on learning and teaching: INNOVATION, DIGITALIZATION AND INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION at universite catholique de Louvain (Belgium), 16-17 JUNE

On June 15-16, 2023 ‘Learning and Teaching: Innovation, Digitalisation, and International Collaboration’ training sessions took place for the members of the Erasmus+ National Group of Experts on Higher Education in Louvain, Belgium. One of the Experts of Higher Education Reform (HERE) Team of National Erasmus+ Office in Uzbekistan  - Prof. Dr. Nozliya Normurodova, TSUULL Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, was actively involved in these training sessions alongside the director and the member of National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) and another HERE from Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, representing Uzbekistan at the event.
The event was aimed to provide the participating experts an insight into the institutional practice of innovation and digitization of L&T, in particular, a review of the unique strategy for improving L&T innovation at UCLouvain, which has a strong international profile, and the experts were invited by the university management to teach professors in various innovative disciplines. The participants had a chance to listen to experts' opinions, as well as get acquainted with the Library of Sciences and Technologies and the educational center. The visit also explored issues of international higher education collaboration regarding innovation in the L&T sector.
 

By the end of the conference, the participants enhanced their understanding of innovative teaching methods, knowledge of digital tools and technologies; expanded their perspective on international education by sharing experience with their international counterparts; were able to strengthen network; developed an action plan for innovation and digitalization in educational context which promises improved learning outcomes and enhanced student engagement.
Prof. Dr. Nozliya Normurodova, TSUULL Vice Rector for international Cooperation, Expert of Higher Education Reform Team of NEO, assessed the value of the sessions highly remarking as follows:
- ‘Overall, the outcomes of the study visit empowered participants to be agents of change in their educational institutions, driving innovation, digitalization, and international collaboration to improve teaching and learning practices.’
