TSUULL at Annual Conference of ‘Perspectives of Higher Education Development’ organized by National Team of Erasmus+ HEREs, NEO, EU and MHESI Uzbekistan, 23 December

For more than three decades, the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union has been the key international programme in Uzbekistan fostering cooperation in higher education, not just among European universities, but also with universities in Central Asia, and other regions of the world. 
Within the Framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, in addition to financing joint projects for Higher Education Institutions, support has been provided for the National Teams of Higher Education Reform Experts in all partner countries. 
The main task of the National Team of HEREs in Uzbekistan to disseminate information about the development of the national higher education system in accordance with the national strategies and reform policies as well as about transformation in the European Higher Education Area covering 49 signatory countries of the Bologna process.  
With a remarkable presentation on ‘Innovation, Digitalization and International Cooperation in Higher Education’, Professor Dr. Nozliya Normurodova, one of the National Team of Erasmus+ Higher Education Reform Experts, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at Alisher Navo’I Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, held a keynote speech in the annual conference of ‘Perspectives of Higher Education Development’ organized by National Team of Erasmus+ Higher Education Reform Experts (HEREs), National Erasmus+ Office (NEO), Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of Uzbekistan (MHESI), EU Delegation to Uzbekistan, at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS). 

 

The Traditional Annual Conference of the HEREs in Uzbekistan is an important opportunity for HEREs community building and networking, best practice sharing and promotion of Erasmus+ projects’ results. As one of the outputs of the Set of Recommendations of UZ HEREs to HE Community for 2024 will be developed and published on the NEO website.
