Toxic Waste Treatment

Toxic waste generated at TSUULL is mainly electrical. one third of the toxic waste is driven from Sustainable Practices Office laborotory which conducts research on sustainability and climate change regardless of the fact that the university is language and social sciences oriented. Main source of electrical waste falls into the category of out of order computers and batteries which are generated in very small quantities.

TSUULL treats sustainably all the toxic waste generated on its campuses. The total ewaste collected from the sources are stored separately until it is transferred to ‘DIY’ laborotory at Akkurgan campus where students under experts’ supervision make efforts to create some useful electronic devices out of broken electronic components or diagnose, repair and bring them back to life rather than replacing gadgets that allows to save university financial sources.   The chemicals from the Sustainable Practies Office are regularly handed to City Waste Collection unitary Enterprise to further safe handling.
