Studying Abroad in Turkey in 2023: Success Story of Munisa Rafiqjonova, TSUULL Uzbek Philology Department Bachelor Student
Congratulations to Munisa Rafiqjonova, TSUULL Uzbek Philology Department Bachelor Student for being selected for the prestigious ORHUN Student Exchange Program to study at Ege University in Izmir (Türkiye) for this Fall Term 2023 through February 2024.
Munisa chose Turkey because she wanted to go someplace warmer by the sea and with a different and vibrant culture.
Munisa’s interests are: learning and comparing languages, teaching Uzbek language for foreigners and also the translation of Uzbek works into other languages (she has also participated in the international conference with Alisher Navoi’s ghazal translation into English). Munisa has attended Mustafa Kuzucu’s Turkish classes, and at Ege university she is planning to learn Turkish language and literature in an academic way as a researcher and strives for strong collaboration between Turkish and Uzbek universities in the future.
