Overview: On May 7, 2024, TSUULL hosted a public talk titled “Social Cohesion and Inclusive Societies” delivered by Daniel Zaretsky, Global Advisor for the Global Chamber. The session explored the importance of building inclusive communities, fostering a sense of shared identity, and promoting peaceful societies in line with the principles of sustainable development. Conducted in English, the talk attracted TSUULL students and staff, sparking dialogue on reducing discrimination and inequality while strengthening cooperation across Central Asia.Speaker: Mamura Turayeva – Winner of the Zulfiya State Award, an honor granted to outstanding young women in Uzbekistan for their academic excellence, social activity, and cultural contributions.

Speaker: Daniel Zaretsky serves as the Global Advisor for the Global Chamber, working extensively on initiatives that promote intercultural understanding, collaboration, and sustainable social development. With experience in global advisory roles, he has supported organizations and institutions across multiple regions in fostering dialogue, inclusivity, and peacebuilding.

What is Social Cohesion and Inclusive Societies?

Social cohesion refers to the strength of relationships and the sense of solidarity among members of a community. An inclusive society is one where all individuals, regardless of background, gender, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status, feel valued and are able to participate fully. Together, these principles aim to:
