Our Students Among the Winners!

Students of Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature proudly claimed second place in the final stage of the national competition "Ma’rifat Maydoni – 2025", a contest aimed at enriching the spiritual world of youth and fostering a love for literature across Uzbekistan.

Our university has always encouraged students to delve deep into literary heritage and develop artistic thinking. As a result of these continued efforts, the university team demonstrated remarkable knowledge and skill in three key areas of the competition: “Lives of Writers,” “Rapid-Fire Q&A,” and “Dramatized Compositions Based on Writers’ Lives and Works.”

The two-day final round of the competition was held in June 2025 in the city of Urgench, hosted by Urgench State University and the Urgench branch of Tashkent Medical Academy. The performances of all participating teams were evaluated by a panel of distinguished experts, including Associate Professor Ilhom Yaqubovich Sadikov and Senior Lecturer Asliddin Sultonmuradovich O‘tayev of the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture; Associate Professors Bozorboy Matchanovich Nazarimbetov and Odilbek Mirzayevich Zamatdinov of the Nukus branch; and Boltaboy Bekmetov, Chief Specialist of the Khorezm regional office of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan.

According to the final results, the teams from Bukhara State Medical Institute and Qarshi International University secured first place. The second place was awarded jointly to the teams from Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature and the Urgut branch of Samarkand State University. Third place went to Samarkand State Medical University and Tashkent State University of Law. Meanwhile, the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan and Namangan State Pedagogical Institute took fourth place, with the Termez State Pedagogical Institute rounding out the top five.

The Ministry awarded the winners with first, second, and third-degree diplomas along with monetary prizes: 40 million soums for first place, 25 million for second, 20 million for third, 10 million for fourth, and 5 million for fifth.

Our university sees this victory as the fruit of consistent efforts in nurturing youth, promoting enlightenment, and cultivating literary thought. We warmly congratulate our students on this achievement and wish them continued success in their academic and creative pursuits!
