To maximize the waste sortout process the university has placed organic waste bins all around the campus and university canteen and coffee shops regularly reports to Sustainable Ptactices Officer on their Organic Waste treatment in regards to Waste arrangement.
TSUULL Sustainable Practices Office closely works with the local farmers who use food waste and other green, landscape waste to feed live stock which minimizes their food expenses.
University Sustainability Practices Team composts food waste at Akkurgan Campus and utilizes on both campuses as plant fertilizer to improve soil’s physical, chemical and biological properties.
University Sustainability Team uses food waste as raw material which has rich organic compounds to produce biodiesel.
