Opportunities Created For Young Sociologists: Fostering Partnerships in Line with SDGs
On January 10, 2024, a significant collaboration unfolded at our university when representatives from "NBT Nazar Business and Technology" LLC visited. Welcomed by the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, N. Normurodova, and delegates from the Department of Social Sciences, the meeting delved into crucial discussions.
M. Kholmirzaeva, the leader of "NBT Nazar Business and Technology," passionately highlighted the escalating need for sociological research in our society, underscoring the imperative of nurturing professionals in this realm. She expressed deep satisfaction with the university's role in shaping young sociologists and acknowledged the positive impact of this collaborative endeavor.
This momentous occasion led to the signing of a memorandum of understanding, solidifying the commitment to further collaboration and the expansion of joint initiatives. Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aims to bolster academic and practical cooperation, particularly within the dynamic field of sociology.
This collaborative effort is geared towards intensifying joint activities that contribute to the fulfillment of SDGs. Discussions also centered around facilitating practical training for students at NBT facilities, providing them with real-world experiences that align with their academic pursuits.
