Next Group of KOICA Volunteers at Uzbek School

Alisher Navo'i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature is a leading center of knowledge in the field of Uzbek language and literature not only in our country, but also in the whole world.

Our university has been cooperating with several international organizations since its foundation. In particular, a cooperation agreement was signed with KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) in 2022. The Korea International Cooperation Agency was founded as a government agency on April 1, 1991, to maximize the effectiveness of South Korea's grant aid programs for developing countries by implementing the government's grant aid and technical cooperation programs.

Based on the agreement, Uzbek language and culture are  taught to Korean volunteers of this organization visiting Uzbekistan. Until now, several groups of volunteers have managed to learn our national language and culture at Uzbek School under TSUULL. From January 15, 2024, 9 more Korean volunteers started learning Uzbek. They are to study the Uzbek language (A1, A2 level) and culture for a month. Intensive language courses and a special program have been developed for them with the help of experienced teachers of the "Uzbek School" using a unique textbook.
